Latest version

The latest version of Tweak is part of Croquet. The easiest way to get started is downloading the Croquet SDK from http://croquetproject.org/ and using the Croquet image.

To build a Tweak image without Croquet in it, have a look at Homebase.image in the SDK's deployment subdirectory. In this image, all you need to do is to load http://hedgehog.software.umn.edu:8888/Tweak/install.mcm and you have Tweak-ready image.

Previous versions

This version is based on iSqueak 3.8-6665. Other 3.8 based versions will work too, but the iSqueak distribution is recommended. Here is what you need:

• iBuild-3.8-6665.zip (250k): Last updated on July, 13, 2005.
  This is the build script for Tweak. It requires a Squeak 3.8-6662 or later as the base version. After extracting it, simply fileIn the "install.st" file.
  Note: The installation requires internet access since it fetches all the code from the primary sources (you probably don't want to do this over a 28.8 modem either).
• iTweak-3.8-6665.zip (14MB): Last updated on July, 13, 2005.
  This is a preloaded version of Tweak provided for your convenience, with many updates already loaded.

Once you have built or downloaded the above make sure that the first thing to do is to open a Tweak project window and check for updates (in the "?" menu). Chances are there will be some new stuff that you haven't got quite yet.
